Competition: The importance of technological progress
Write a one-page essay on the importance of technological progress
Many noble ideals and visions are as old as humanity. Technology is what makes them possible. What are the most important areas where human progress is needed? What could be the most effective ways to reach progress in those areas? Which areas are the most neglected?
Please read the essay by Balaji Srinivasan titled The Purpose of Technology. Further research some ideas that caught your attention. And write a short, max 1 page, essay and also add a picture/artwork that illustrates the importance of technological progress. It can be your own photography or animation, or some picture found on the internet and adjusted with tools like Deep Dream Generator. Please respect the copyright and don’t use already existing texts or artwork as your own.

Form: originality, eloquence, memorability
Content: The understanding of the importance of technological progress and how the most important, solvable and neglected problems can be solved with technology.
How will we use the submissions?
We will retweet the 20 best submissions and create a “book deck” publication out of them, referencing your twitter handle as an author. We will also help the 20 best authors to put their submissions on Solsea as NFTs and link to their submissions as NFTs in the “book deck” publication.
